ANGER

In one night...

After my evening prayers at the mosque when Ramadan. As the nights before, my priest start his sermon that night. He told us a story about an anger. 

One day, there lived a temprament boy. Everyday he was always angry. Until his father wondered about what he should do. Finally, in one evening his father said something to the boy.

"Son, if you are angry.. plug the nails into the wood. Everytime and everywhere when you're angry". And the boy do it. When he was angry, he always plug the nails into the woods. Time went on and almost 1 week. 

"Look at to the wood, how many nails have you plug it in? almost twenty nails. Wow, it shows that you were angry as much as 20 times in 1 week. And from now on, everytime and everywhere you're angry.. remove the nails from the wood". And the boy do it too. During the time run, the boy looked tired. Maybe he was tired because he had to pull out every nail first when he would get angry. 

Over time, the father saw the progress of his child. The child became very rarely angry. The child becomes more patient, or even he's silence when he's angry. 

You guys, can see it. You can learn from the story. 

Bad habits are hard to remove. just by reducing it bit by bit, the badness can be lost. It takes patience and a clear mind.

And you must remember, the impression on the wood meaning that the bad side in ourselves can be lost but it always made impression in ourselves. How to clear that? Always doing good, remember Allah SWT, and also istighfar to Allah all the time. InsyaAllah, Allah will always distanced ourselves from the bad things.
